Climate change is happening all around us and in addition to impacting on people's health we are seeing the impact on our ability to deliver healthcare - whether its because services are interrupted due to extreme weather events such as flooding or heatwaves what is clear is that the estate will play a key role in our adaptation to climate change.
This conference delivered in partnership between NHS Commercial Solutions and Public Policy Projects showcases the impacts of climate change on the built environment, the impact of the estate on Environmental sustainability, social value and human rights, and what the public sector can do to adapt to climate change whilst not negatively impacting on other aspects of Sustainability. This conference demonstrates real actions we can take to adapt our health service to climate change and ways in which we can fund it.
Key speakers include:
Chris Hopson, Chief Strategy Officer NHS England.
