As an OT with a passion for sustainable development, I can no longer separate my professional and personal worlds. If you’ve reached this website then I guess we have similar interests!
I believe OTs are well-placed to make a telling contribution to NHS carbon reduction targets. By making simple changes to our practices around food, water and energy and our procurement processes, and helping educate others about emerging global issues, we can impact our own organisations and our wider communities.
I’m seeking other OTs concerned about the sustainability of their service and the profession as a whole to take part in a baseline survey of OT practice.
