What is the carbon footprint of patients' travel to GP?

I run askmyGP, which aims to make it easier for patients to get help from their own GP, and easier for GPs to give the right help.
A key element of this is the finding that only about one in three patients needs a face to face appointment with the GP.  Two thirds can be helped remotely by message or phone call, eliminating the need to travel.

As well as queues to see the GP disappearing, car parks are emptying.

Would be interested to hear views in CSH forums on quantifying the environmental benefit, and how powerful this message is for helping GPs make the change.
