This study day examines the relationship between the climate crisis and patient health, with particular focus on its role in exacerbating longstanding social inequalities.
It will also explore the contribution of healthcare to the climate and ecological emergency, alongside responses from UK health systems.
Participants will be introduced to the GreenED Framework and practical approaches to improving environmental sustainability in clinical practice, supported by case examples from healthcare professionals.
The programme will conclude with an overview of healthcare sector advocacy for urgent societal action on climate change.
