This new document is a collection of ‘recipes’ identifying the ingredients and methods needed to be more environmentally sustainable in intensive care units. Heather Baid is an intensive care nurse who will explain this Recipe Book and the tracker tool, which were developed by the Intensive Care Society, Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine, UK Critical Care Nursing Alliance and University of Brighton. Although the Recipe Book was developed for intensive care units, much of the content about is about topics related to environmental sustainability in any healthcare setting. Therefore, nurses, midwives and other healthcare professionals from any background are invited to this session.
