Climate change and human health: the role of nurses in confronting the issue

This article highlights the impact climate change has on the health of mankind and the difficulties practicing nurses must address regarding resulting issues. The article calls for a public health issue to be enforced, and nurses to be sufficiently equipped with the knowledge and training on the problems at present, which negatively impact one’s health. As practicing nurses have a key role in maintaining healthy relationships with patients, communication is key to spreading awareness of environmentally positive strategies.
