This course explores the links between a healthier planet and healthier people.

Once completed, you will have gained an understanding of how environmental sustainability relates to UK pharmacy practice, and the impact on pharmaceutical public health. You will learn ways to reduce emissions across medicines, transport and healthcare, and be able to identify lower-carbon methods for practicing pharmacy.

The course provides an introduction to Bath’s full 11-week unit ‘Pharmaceutical Public Health’, which covers this content more thoroughly.
