Sustainable Inhaler Prescribing For Asthma

This is a presentation I created whilst on placement at a GP practice in Didcot during my 5th year of medical school. I completed an audit of sustainable inhaler prescribing in the asthmatic population of the GP practice, and found that dry powder inhalers (DPI) are significantly underprescribed, especially in patients only using a short acting bronchodilator (SABA). I shared my findings with the clinical staff and hope it will change their prescribing practice in the future.
