At the University of Manchester, the Community Based Medical Education Team (CBME) has devised a new toolkit to encourage and support students and supervisors carrying out 'green' quality improvement projects (QEPEP).

QEPEPs run for four weeks across general practice and primary care and while green QEPEPs are options, so far they have run more than 28 Green projects!

The toolkit, which was created in collaboration with the Centre of Sustainable Healthcare, introduces the principles of sustainable healthcare, measuring sustainable value and provides examples of previous green QEPEPs for future students to take inspiration from.

The team has kindly agreed to share the toolkit here, to help others in integrating SusQI into their education practices.
