Best practice for antiseptic disinfectant solution containers

Hello,

I wonder what the best practice is for 500 ml antiseptic disinfectant solution containers. We have many such containers throughout our hospitals, used for hand hygiene. They usually contain solutions of 70% ethanol and 0.6% Chlorhexidine Gluconate. Some hospitals buy them as is, and some produce the solution in the pharmacy and fill them in-house. In both options, however, the empty containers are not reused, and one needs to treat them as plastics that contain hazardous material.
