Mobility Equipment Returns and NHS Volunteers
I work on the NHS England funded NHS Volunteers project.
A quote from NHS E: 'if 2 out of every 5 mobility aids were returned, it would save the Trust £46.000 a year' ... this clearly impacts a Trusts sustainability also. If anyone in the AHP world is interested in trying to mobilize an army of our NHS Volunteers to return unused mobility aids to trust sites to coincide with Greener AHP week please get in touch.
