These 15/20 minute entry-level podcasts recorded in February 2017 look at what we know about the way in which climate change affects health and the steps we can take.  Both are interviews with Dr Aaron Bernstein.

In the first he covers the risks climate change impacts pose to the areas of progress in global health and human development and health and environment co-benefits.  This covers the ambiguities: "a lot of the health outcomes are clear in the sense that we can anticipate that they will happen but their magnitude is really hard to know".  Dr Bernstein also talks about the problems of how we measure the financial cost effectiveness of taking action.

In the second, Empathy and the Environment, the discussion covers climate policy efforts that haven't worked and those that might and why.  It also looks at the power of health protection as part of the argument and the particular value of the voice of health care professionals.
