As part of my PhD research at the University of East Anglia, I am conducting a national study exploring how sustainability practices are implemented and supported within NHS organisations. The study has received full HRA and NHS approval.
With increasing focus on Net Zero and sustainable healthcare delivery, this research aims to understand how leadership, financial strategy, and organisational decision-making influence sustainability performance.
I am inviting participation from NHS staff who hold managerial, leadership, or decision-making responsibilities, including:
• Executive and senior managers
• Clinical leads and healthcare professionals with leadership roles
• Finance and managerial accounting professionals
• Sustainability and environmental management teams
• Directors and senior decision-makers
• Estates and Facilities Management staff
• Operational leaders involved in strategic or resource decisions
The survey is anonymous and takes approximately 15–20 minutes to complete.

Your insights will contribute to identifying practical approaches to strengthening sustainable healthcare across NHS organisations. I would also be very grateful if you could share this with relevant colleagues or networks.
Thank you very much for your support.
