In the West of England we have a Greener Network Group - a subgroup of the Pathology Network (PNs). I am trying to find out what other doing to incorporate sustainability. Sustainability was added to the PN overall strategic plans in April 2024 and is a thread that runs through all domains. Please get in touch with me if you are a sustainability lead in one of the PNs. The only other PN that has a dedicated groups is PenPath also in the South West.

Nick Veasey and Cathy Spence at UHBW have recently put this case study together on recycling in specimen reception, which has been piloted at BRI and rolled out further now.
