PPE and Sustainability

I'm sure we've all become very used to using PPE during our clinical work, and perhaps have been worrying about its impact on the environment.

These are the key points for reducing carbon emissions:

- buy PPE made in the UK (12% reduction)
- use reusable gowns and face masks (10% reduction)
- recycle whenever possible (35% reduction)
- wash hands instead of using gloves (45% reduction)
