Hi, I am a consultant nephrologist working in Exeter, Devon. We have a project collecting peritoneal dialysis fluid and dialysis catheter dressings etc which can not be re-issued within the NHS and then shipping them to a hospital in Ghana for the Saving Young Lives peritoneal dialysis project. This saves young lives with acute kidney injury and also saves waste for the NHS. We are looking for a regular, low cost, shipping option to get boxes of fluid etc to Ghana.
Does anyone have any similar experience or know of any shipping companies which will take medical supplies in this way?
