Dear Colleague,
We are organising a national audit sustainable respiratory care project and we would like to invite you to collaborate. All of the information is in the attached pdf project plan and key points are summarised below.
What would taking part involve?
We will provide you with a questionnaire for you to undertake with at least 20 patients in your hospital. The questionnaire is an 'inhaler audit proforma’ which explores patients preferences with regards to inhalers.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for health professionals working in secondary care (ie. hospitals). The minimum requirement is two people from any hospital, one of whom must be a senior clinician (consultant, respiratory specialist nurse or specialist respiratory registrar). All healthcare professionals working in secondary care are invited to apply, including physician associates, pharmacists, respiratory nurses, physiotherapists and doctors.
How much time will it take?
The time commitment is approximately 6 hours over three months.
What will I get out of this?
This is an opportunity to contribute to reducing the carbon impact of the NHS. If you’re looking for an audit project for your portfolio, you can join this national audit which is well organised and manageable within a short timeframe. We will support you to present your data locally and can support you in developing improvements and changes in your own setting.
All those who submit data from 20 questionnaires will be acknowledged in presentations of the findings.
You can connect with colleagues around the country who are keen to
