A great new resource has been put together by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists on Sustainable Cataract surgery Pathways. There are lots of tips and ideas which may result in increased sustainability of Cataract surgery. These include a wide range of approaches including encouraging teamwork, providing more patient centred care, increasing risk stratification of lists and risk mitigation, staggering lists and sharing out tasks between the team.
