Following another summer of record-breaking heat, join Wen, the Birth Companions Institute and Friends of the Earth for the launch of our new report, Heatwaves and Women: Why Rising Heat in the UK is a Feminist Issue.
The report explores how rising temperatures intersect with women’s health and existing inequalities, and what needs to change in UK heat and climate adaptation policy.
At the online launch, we’ll share key findings and hear from contributors about what a fairer, more inclusive approach to extreme heat and climate resilience could look like.
