Kidney Care Susnet Event - Changing the Future for Chronic Kidney Disease

Ben Whittaker

Alison Railton (Head of Policy and External Affairs, Kidney Research UK) will outline the KRUK reports that model future dialysis numbers and discuss how KRUK policy and advocacy aligns with CKD prevention, which will lead to more sustainable service delivery.

Sustainable kidney care delivers high quality care without damaging the environment, is affordable now and in the future and delivers positive social impact. Come along to this global networking event and meet other people who would like to make nephrology practice more sustainable. All are welcome.

Alison's team at KRUK influences policy and engages with parliamentarians.  Their aim is to move kidney disease up the political agenda and secure policy change on prevention, early detection, health inequalities, mental health and life sciences.  Alison has worked in health policy for over 20 years and was previously at the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
