Dr Leigh Donnelly is the Training and Development Lead for Endoscopy at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Her proactive work to minimise the environmental impact of the endoscopy department led to her being awarded the prestigious President’s Medal by the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG).
In this talk, Leigh shares her experience and the journey that led to this recognition, highlighting how small, achievable changes can create meaningful and lasting impact. She hopes to inspire others to take practical steps towards sustainability within their own healthcare settings.
