Amy Roach, dietitian and UK Healthcare Manager of Greener by Default, has been practising for six years in the acute settings, including intervals spent specialising in adult stroke and critical care. Amy understands the need for ongoing high quality healthcare and believes this can be achieved in ways more sustainable to protect both people and planet. In line with this, Amy spent a year working as an NHS England Sustainability Fellow alongside her dietetic work, where she worked as part of a team implementing sustainable projects and raising awareness.
