This campaign is really gaining momentum. if you haven't yet signed the letter please do so and share. Health professionals are calling on all NHS hospitals and organisations across the United Kingdom to adopt a “Plant-Based by Default” food menu to improve health outcomes, cut carbon emissions, reduce pandemic risk, limit antibiotic resistance and decrease food costs, all without restricting choice. Plants First Healthcare Calling for adoption of Plant Based menu

I'm often the one to play the sceptic.
There's very little on the website of case studies other than the promo video.
Also I see this as another American company contracted to take cash outside of the UK. Aren't some hospitals already doing this?
Certainly in London hospitals adapt to the culture of the populous in the area.

I have signed this. I understand that all 11 hospitals in New York City now serve plant-based meals by default and this was made possible under the leadership of the mayor Eric Adams, who leads by example and he himself is a successful case study as he improved his own health after having adopted the plant-based diet. Pilot studies already done in some hospitals with the initiative of Plant-based health professionals UK and the help of Greener by Default.
